Saffron Cordery OBE

Saffron is an independent strategy consultant specialising in health care and public policy. Until summer 2025, she was Deputy Chief Executive of NHS Providers and has worked in the healthcare sector since 2007.

She was awarded an OBE in the King’s New Year Honours 2026 for services to the NHS. She has extensive experience in policy development, influencing and communications, and previously served as Head of Public Affairs at the Local Government Association.

Her earlier career focused on EU policy and adult and community education. She holds a degree in Modern Languages, is studying for a Masters in Literary Translation, and is co‑chair of Agenda Alliance.
